Changwon International Shooting Range

Changwon International Shooting Range

This is an international-standard shooting range established on a 10ha land surrounded by nature. It consists of a clay target shooting range, powder gun shooting range, and air gun shooting range.

In 1999, a part of the Changwon International Shooting Range was opened to the general public, and it has since become a dynamic leisure center that people seek out when they are in need of an energy boost.

Situated on the foothills

of Bongnimsan Mountain (elevation: 566m) overlooking Changwon, people also often climb up to the peak for the spectacular view and scenery.

Jinhae Environment Eco-Park(Inland Water Eco-Park)

Jinhae Environment Eco-Park

Reservoir with Cherry blossom leaves are scattering on the water. Jinhae Environment Eco-Park is a place not to miss when talking about the cherry blossom viewing spots in Changwon.

The Eco-Park, which was established in 2008, was reborn as an experience eco-park with a promenade and an experience-learning center before the Jinhae Cherry blossom festival in 2009.
The Eco-Park is chosen by photographers as a beautiful photographing spot in Korea during the cherry blossom tree season. In addition to cherry blossoms, there are more than 4,000 species of wetland plants and trees including the Russian iris and hosta plants, and thus autumn leaves as colorful as cherry blossom trees may be seen in autumn.

After a tour of the Eco-Park,

there is also a Freshwater Fish Ecology Learning Center at the Inland Aquaculture Research Institute, which displays freshwater fish like stone moroko and sturgeon.

Jinhae Marine Park(JIPTREK, EDGEWALK)

The Jinhae Marine Park

The Jinhae Marine Park is an experiential learning center where people can delve into Eastern and Western history and culture, and better understand the importance of having marine power.

The world naval battle history can be explored at the Naval Battle History Experience Hall, while the Warship Exhibition Hall gives a glimpse into what it is like to live as a naval officer. mjigyo Bridge present a spectacular sight for the visitors as well.

The exhibition and experience halls at the Marine Organism Theme Park presents information on the origins and evolutionary processes of marine organisms and specimens of diverse fish, shellfish and more for a closer look at the marine ecosystem. The fantastic landscape lighting and fountain as well as the 250m-long Eumjigyo Bridge present a spectacular sight for the visitors as well.

From the 99 Tower in Jinhae Ocean Park to Sokuri Island,

ZipTrack' provides the thrill and freedom with beautiful sights of Jinhae Ocean Park through 1399 meters mid-air trip at 80 km/h. After the ZipTrack experience, there is a jet boat available on the way back from the Sokuri island.

Also, in the 99 Tower,

there is an Edge Walk, which is an experience of walking 62 meters around the outer wall of the 99 Tower at 75 meter height, depending on a safety rope connected to a rail. Unlike the other skywalks in Korea, no hand rail is installed for maximize thrilling experience.

Marine Solar Tower

Marine Solar Tower

The Marine Solar Tower erected on top of the Jinhae Marine Park is equipped with Korea’s largest capacity (600kW) and tallest solar power generation system for a single building.

As one of the landmarks of Changwon,

the Marine Solar Tower is reminiscent of a sail, and there are more than 2,000 solar power modules attached thereto. Near the 120m point in height, there is a circular observatory symbolizing the sun, and it offers a near-panoramic view of the New Port of Busan, Geogadaegyo Bridge, and Jinghaeman Bay.
